Adriana Kantcheva is ever awed by the wonder of existence. She writes speculative fiction about the marvel of connection and the trouble with disconnection, often with a feminist touch and occasional romance. Her words appear in PodCastle, Short Édition, Escape Pod, and elsewhere.

Born in Bulgaria, she lived in seven countries before settling in Germany. She holds a PhD in molecular biology and has worked as a researcher, science editor, scuba diver, and flight attendant.
