Adriana Kantcheva writes fantasy and science fiction with a feminist touch, a pinch of idealism, and the occasional (sapphic) romance. Her words appear in PodCastle, Short Édition, Escape Pod, and elsewhere.

Born in Bulgaria, she lived in seven countries before settling in Germany. She holds a PhD in molecular biology and has worked as a researcher, science editor, scuba diver, and flight attendant.
